This gas station in Shamrock, Texas was the inspiration for Ramone's House of Body Art Shop in Pixar's Cars movie.
Not exactly sure how this works, but I don't care. Just look at that typography! There is nothing
practical
about it.

Pretty avant garde for Good Housekeeping, don't you think?

Found at an antique mall somewhere on I-70 in Kansas. I can't wait to use orange, baby blue, black and white together on a future project.
