I'm a huge fan of Robert Clergerie. This suede chunky platform for Fall is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. Unfortunately, not so practical for the snowy sidewalks and icy parking lots that I have to navigate on the way to work in the Winter.
I was searching for brilliant magazine covers for my History of Graphic Design class and came across this one for The New Yorker that Milton Glaser designed after Obama won the Presidential Election last year. This is so amazing, on so many different levels, that I am completely in awe. Brav-o.
Nifty close-up of a Fluxus poster seen at MOMA. I love how there are die cut circles and reverse halftone dots and the tension that is caused between the two.
An example of how a great book cover design can motivate someone to pick up the book. I'm about 1/3 of the way through this and it is enlightening + creepy, both in the best way possible. The cover design is by Whitney Cookman and the illustration is by Peter Sís.
I snapped this inside a public bathhouse in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. I was told that photography was not allowed, but thanks to the iPhone, I still got the shot.
